Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and ReviewAbout LLC ("ReviewAbout," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of reviewabout.me and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly report unauthorized access.
2. Platform role
ReviewAbout lets users publish reviews, ratings, comments, complaints, replies, images, audio, video, and other content. Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not ReviewAbout. Listings, ratings, advertisements, owner responses, and moderation decisions are not endorsements or guarantees.
3. Review rules
Reviews must describe a genuine and relevant experience. You may not:
- publish a fake or misleading review, use a nonexistent identity, copy another person's experience, or use AI or automation to fabricate an experience;
- buy, sell, or broker fake reviews or offer an incentive conditioned on a positive or negative sentiment;
- hide a material connection, including employment, ownership, family relationship, free or discounted products, payment, affiliate commission, or another benefit;
- coordinate review campaigns or create multiple accounts to manipulate a rating;
- threaten, intimidate, pay, or make an unfounded legal threat to suppress an honest review; or
- post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, exploitative, privacy-invasive, infringing, or otherwise illegal content.
Material connections must be disclosed clearly with the review and in the same language. Businesses may respond and report content, but a commercial relationship with ReviewAbout does not purchase a rating or protection from criticism.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). You grant ReviewAbout a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, format, translate, display, distribute, and otherwise use User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, promote, and provide the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions required to submit it.
Public User Content may be indexed by search engines and copied or shared by others. Do not publish confidential information or personal data you have no lawful right to disclose.
5. Moderation and reports
We may label, restrict, request evidence for, remove, or decline to publish content, and may suspend accounts, when we reasonably believe content or conduct violates these Terms, applicable law, or the integrity of the Service. We do not promise to monitor every submission and do not remove a review merely because it is negative.
To report content or appeal a decision, email support@reviewabout.me with the URL, a concise explanation, and supporting material.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, excluding User Content, is owned by or licensed to ReviewAbout and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for its intended purpose.
Copyright complaints should identify the protected work and disputed material, include the complainant's contact information and signature, and contain the statements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512. Send copyright notices to the contact below. Complete designated-agent details are displayed only after the designation and public contact information have been configured.
7. Privacy and third parties
Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain our data practices. Third-party links, embeds, authentication providers, and advertisements are governed by their own terms and policies.
8. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." REVIEWABOUT DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT USER CONTENT IS TRUE, COMPLETE, SAFE, OR RELIABLE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ReviewAbout LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO REVIEWABOUT DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
10. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ReviewAbout LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from third-party claims arising from your User Content, unlawful use of the Service, or material breach of these Terms. This does not require a consumer to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct.
11. Termination and changes
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated violation, legal or security risk, or prolonged inactivity. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the date above. Additional notice will be provided when required by law.
12. Governing rules
These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal and state law, without limiting non-waivable consumer protections. A dispute may be brought in a court with jurisdiction and proper venue under applicable law. These Terms do not require individual arbitration or waive participation in a class action.
