2. Sources and purposes

We collect information from you, your browser or device, authentication and analytics providers, other users, and public or commercially available sources. We use it to provide and secure the Service, authenticate users, publish and moderate content, detect fraud and fake reviews, respond to requests, measure performance, communicate with users, comply with law, and protect legal rights.

3. Disclosures

Public reviews, ratings, profile names, media, and replies can be visible to anyone and indexed by search engines. We may disclose information to hosting, media, email, support, security, analytics, and other service providers; to integrations you choose; when required for legal or safety reasons; in a business transaction; or with your direction or consent.

Analytics providers supported by the current Service include Google Analytics, Hotjar, and ReviewAbout/Plur analytics services. They may receive IP address, device identifiers, and usage information.

4. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information for money. Disclosure of device and internet-activity information to analytics or advertising providers may be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under some state laws. Optional analytics remains disabled unless you expressly consent. To opt out for this browser, select "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer or enable Global Privacy Control. For an account-level request or another privacy request, email support@reviewabout.me with the subject "Privacy Opt-Out." We do not knowingly sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising the personal information of consumers under 16.

5. Retention and security

We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the Service, preserve the integrity of public discussions, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, but no system is completely secure.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of information; opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; restrict or object to processing; limit certain uses of sensitive information; and appeal a privacy-request decision.

Submit requests to support@reviewabout.me. State your jurisdiction and requested right. ReviewAbout operates online and accepts requests through this designated email channel. We may verify your identity and authority. We will acknowledge and respond within the time required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations. You may also have the right to complain to a local supervisory authority.

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 provided personal information.
